Fremont Area Art Association
To inspire a culture of art and education in our community
About Us
Organized in 1960 as a nonprofit organization, the Fremont Area Art Association promotes the appreciation and development of visual art in and around the Fremont area. It has been an active participant in the cultural life of the community and area for over 50 years. Membership is composed of art supporters and appreciators as well as active artists ranging from successful professionals to "Sunday painters." The Art Association is supported by membership, donations and grants from the Nebraska Arts Council, Fremont Area Community Foundation, the Dodge County Convention and Visitors Bureau and various other organizations.
Our Mission
As an arts organization, we strive to connect our community through the human expression of art. We look to art to help us understand the human experience. Nonprofits exist to make our communities better, safer, healthier and livable for all. We commit to diversity and inclusion and making our gallery accessible and welcoming to everyone.
Strategic Plan
The Fremont Area Art Association will be a strong, self-sustaining organization that partners with the community. We provide a vibrant gathering place that involves people of all ages in a dynamic learning environment where they can make meaning and sense of the world's complexity through the creation of, and appreciation for, quality visual arts.
