On Exhibit This Month
Fremont Public Schools
March is National Youth Art Month! This month is an important event that celebrates all things related to the arts and arts education for kids and has been celebrated across the country since 1961. In honor of National Youth Art Month, the FAAA has partnered with Fremont Public Schools and is proud to host artwork by Kindergarten through Grade 12 students in the Gallery and the main floor classroom. The pieces in this year's FPS Exhibit were hand-selected by the art teachers and we are honored to have the opportunity to spotlight the art education program and talented young artists in our own community.
Our Galleries
Gallery 92 West is the home of the Fremont Area Art Association, a place for artists and art lovers to participate in as well as view the visual arts. Its purpose is to make these works of art more visible for the people of Fremont and the surrounding communities. Artists, representing a wide range of the visual arts, exhibit each month at our galleries. A reception for the artist(s) is hosted at the opening of each new exhibit. Exhibits and receptions are open to both members and the public with no admission charge.
The Harvey and Catherine Hornig Gallery
About the Gallery
The Harvey and Catherine Hornig Gallery About the Gallery This gallery was named in memory of Harvey and Catherine Hornig, for their love and support of the arts and their daughter, Mara, who has taught art in Fremont for the past 25 years.
The Barbara Tellatin Gallery
About the Gallery
The Barbara Tellatin Gallery is lovingly named after longtime FAAA Member and Fremont artist and art teacher Barbara Tellatin. Barbara's husband purchased the naming rights to this space for the 2024 calendar year to honor her memory in the building and with the organization that she loved so much. Being the center of the guests' gathering at receptions and luncheons makes this gallery a favorite among exhibiting artists.

This collection of photographs from all 93 counties in Nebraska highlights historic places and often-overlooked historical treasures. The exhibit is a compilation of work from photographers across Nebraska that highlights locations on the National Register of Historic Places or is of personal or community significance. The "Bridges" photography exhibit was created in partnership between the former Hildegard Center for the Arts, Nebraska Tourism Commission and Nebraska State Historical Society, in preparation for the states 150th birthday in 2017. Each piece is panel mounted, 11.75" X 17.75", and includes a narrative from the artist about the location. The show also includes a digital presentation of all pieces that can be scrolled during an exhibition.
